log on time out
christianv asked:
Is there a way to set it up such that someone is logged in using Westside if they go away and come back an hour later and they will be logged out?

is there a way to set that policy on the server?

In this case, the client is running their own WS server.

  brendanx responded:
  No.  The user must either close the browser, or click a 'log off' link.
  matthewb responded:
  Here's a dumb (and unreliable way) to get this result.

<script><!--
window.setTimeout("logout()", 3600*1000);
function logout()
    {
    window.location = "/logoff.csp";
    }
--></script>

This will only work if the user walks away with the browser sitting on a page in the web.  If he first navigates to www.amazon.com before walking away from his machine it won't log him out.
