Article TypeInfo
TitleFTP Error: 425 Could not open data connection

FTP is returning this error:

425 Could not open data connection to xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx port yyyy

This error is returned when the user's computer is not visible to our servers at DataWeb.com. This is typically because the user's machine is protected by a firewall. The work around is to make sure your FTP client is configured to use "passive" mode when connecting to your web over FTP.
