How To: Rename a table that contains a lookup to itself
Article TypeHow To
TitleRename a table that contains a lookup to itself
If you rename a table that contains a lookup to a field within the same table, the lookup will continue to refer to the original table name and will not function properly. This is a known bug.

To rename a table with a lookup to itself, copy the table, and rename it as part of the copy process. The lookup will be renamed as expected.
