View Basics
Views are composed of different elements, such as data regions, action bars and HTML blocks. The functionality of a view is determined by the elements that it contains. Some elements (for example, a data region in details mode) display data from a data table, some elements (for example, a data region in update mode) allow users to change the data in a data table, and some elements (for example, the page element) define the layout and navigation scheme of a view.
