DataWeb User's Guide

The Themes Folder
The Themes folder is automatically created when you create a new web application. The files in the Themes folder specify the styles and formatting for the pages your web application, according to the theme you chose when you created it. You can change these styles, or define your own styles, or choose not to use them at all.

The template.view file provides the template for your web application. The template is a framework for displaying the pages in your web application. A template provides:

  • A navigation bar, for moving between the pages of your web application
  • The title of the web application
  • Log on information, if your application requires that visitors log on
  • An Admin area for users with administrative privileges

The default.css file is a cascading style sheet that specifies default styles on the pages of your web application.
